देहरादून। राजधानी के मालदेवता स्थित आर्मी फायरिंग रेंज में धमाके के बाद एक युवक की मौत हो गई। पुलिस का कहना है कि किसी विस्फोटक के फटने से उसकी मौत हुई है। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर जांच शुरू कर दी है। इस घटना से परिजनों में शोक की लहर है।

रायपुर थाने से मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक मंगलवार शाम करीब सात बजेे पुलिस को सूचना मिली कि आर्मी के फायरिंग रेंज में एक युवक घायल अवस्था में पड़ा है। सूचना पर पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची।

मालदेवता रोड पर आर्मी फायरिंग रेंज के अंदर करीब डेढ़ किलो मीटर आगे नदी के पास एक युवक का लहूलुहान शव पड़ा मिला। उसका चेहरा बुरी तरह से फटा हुआ था। युवक की शिनाख्त अमित राणा (35 वर्ष) पुत्र स्वर्गीय अशोक राणा निवासी रांझावाला थाना रायपुर के रूप में की गई।

पुलिस के मुताबिक युवक वहां कबाड़ आदि बीनने के लिए गया था। संभवता कोई ग्रिनेट फटने से उसकी मौत हुई। शव के पास एक लोहे का टुकड़ा एवं बारूद भी मिला। रायपुर थानाध्यक्ष दिलवर नेगी ने बताया कि मामले की हर पहलू पर जांच चल रही है। प्रथमदृष्टया मौत किसी विस्फोटक के फटने से हुई प्रतीत लग रही है।
