देहरादून। उत्तराखंड की नदियों में अवैध खनन जोरों से चल रहा है। पुलिस का खनन माफिया पर कोई अंकुश नहीं है। लगातार खनन माफिया सक्रिय हैं। शिकायत के बाद भी पुलिस एक्शन नहीं ले रही है। इस पर डीआईजी नीरू गर्ग ने पुलिस अधिकारियों को कड़े निर्देश दिते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि अवैध खनन पर अब सिर्फ थाना प्रभारी ही नहीं अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक, संबंधितित एसपी सिटी और एसपी देहात भी जिम्मेदार होंगे।

डीआईजी नीरु गर्ग पुलिस उपमहानिरीक्षक गढ़वाल परिक्षेत्र द्वारा परिक्षेत्र के जनपदों में अवैध खनन की शिकायतें प्राप्त होने पर परिक्षेत्र के सभी जनपद प्रतिद्वंदियों को निर्देशित किया गया कि अवैध खनन पर प्रभावी हस्तक्षेप और कार्यवाही पुलिस का दायित्व है।

यदि परिक्षेत्र स्तर से गठित टीम के माध्यम से औचक कार्यवाही के दौरान जनपदों के किसी भी थाना क्षेत्र में अवैध खनन होने और उसमें स्थानीय पुलिस की लापरवाही या संलिप्तता पायी जाती है, तो संबंधित दंड थाना प्रभारी क्षेत्राधिकारी और अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक के विरूद्ध वैधानिक कार्यवाही अमल में लायी बीगी साथ ही जनपद प्रभारी का भी दायित्व निर्धारित किया जाएगा।
